Dutch trade mission to US and Canada
From Tuesday, July 11th through Tuesday, July 18th 2017, a Dutch trade mission will visit the leading horticultural regions of British Columbia and Washington State. The mission focuses on both floriculture and horticulture. The trade mission will clarify the market opportunities and will network with local trade partners. Manufacturing companies, wholesalers as well as shops will be visited. Matchmaking will be an essential part of the mission.
Cultivate'17
To conclude the trade mission, Cultivate'17 in Columbus, Ohio will be visited, particularly interesting for floriculture participants.
CETA
The mission responds to the CETA trade agreement that Canada and the EU have concluded this year. With the CETA treaty, all trade barriers and tariffs will be phased out quickly. It is also expected that trade relations between the two continents will be boosted significantly.
The trade mission is a collaboration between two specialized agencies for the Agri/Food industry: Phaff Export Marketing and Sense marketing & more. This trip is organized in line with last year’s mission to the east side of Canada and the USA.
