AREFLH general assembly comes to Bologna

The general assembly of AREFLH (Assembly of European Regions producing Fruits, Vegetables and Ornamental Plants) will take place on 23rd and 24th March 2017, in Bologna, Italy.

Programme

Thursday 23rd March 2017

15.00 – 17.30 Conference and debate: “CAP mid-term review and post-2020 perspectives”
  • Opening of the conference by Stefano Bonaccini, President of Emilia-Romagna region and Simona Caselli, Agriculture assessor of Emilia-Romagna region and President of AREFLH.
  • Interventions :
    • M. Raimondo Serra, European Commission, DG AGRI
    • M. Paolo de Castro, Vice-President the European Parliament, COMAGRI
    • M. Leornardo di Gioia, Coordinator of the Agriculture Commission of the Italian State-Regions conference.
    • Mr Maurizio Martina, Italian Minister for Agriculture (to be confirmed)
20.30 Diner with local products and wines in a Bologna restaurant (address to be confirmed). For AREFLH members only, number of participants limited.

Friday 24th March 2017
  • 9.15 Welcome speech by Simona Caselli, President of AREFLH, on the association’s 15-year anniversary.
  • 9.30 The 2016 Activity Report by Jacques Dasque, General Secretary.
  • 9.45 Presentation of the 2017-2018 activities by Jean-Louis Moulon, President of the Producers’ College.
  • 10.00 Presentation of the 2016 financial report by AREFLH’s Treasurer
  • 10.15 Vote on the reports and discharge of the administrators
  • 10.25 2017 budget and proposition for the 2017 membership fees (regions, AOPs, OPs) by Pauline Panegos, Vote
  • 10.40 Coffee Break
  • 11.00 Special focus on a selection of AREFLH Regions : Emilia-Romagna (IT), Basilicata (IT) and Murcia (ES)
  • 12.00 Presentation by Jose Garcia Alvarez Coque, Director of the Group of International Economy and Development: "20 years of the fruit and vegetable CMO, a tool for the development of the European sector" 
  • 12:30 Extraordinary General Assembly:
    • Presentation of the modifications in the statuses
    • Vote
  • 13.15 Closure speech by Mrs. Caselli, the President
  • 13.30 Buffet with local products and wines
