Attending Horti Asia? Here's what you need to know

Here are a couple of important things to know if you are attending the Horti Asia in Bangkok this week.



Registration

You can pre-register yourself on the website of the Horti Asia. Use promo code HM2123 for a THB 1,000 rebate to register yourself free of charge.

Opening hours

The trade show is opened from Wednesday March 15 to Friday March 17 from 10:00 to 18:00 hrs.

Getting there

The Horti Asia, AgriTechnica Asia and Viv Asia take place at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC), which is located in the Bang Na district on Bang Na-Trad Highway, near the intersection with Sukhumvit Road. The easiest ways to reach the BITEC are by Skytrain or by taxi (please be aware of traffic jams when traveling by taxi). Visitors travelling to BITEC can get off the skytrain at Bang Na station and walk 500m to reach the exhibition halls. Horti Asia is located in Hall 105.

Speaker program

Aside of a selection with international exhibitors that will show the latest adaptive technology and supplies for commercial tropical climate horticulture in Southeast Asia, a Smart Horticulture Conference takes place in exhibition hall 105, conference room 105b, on Wednesday March 15, from 14:00 to 17:00.

This conference will feature a Keynote presentation by Mr. Aalt Dijkhuizen, the president of the Dutch Topsector Agro&Food. The speaker forum provides a podium for presentations of both growers and technology suppliers to share their experiences and shine their light on the potential of smart horticulture in ASEAN countries.
