An interactive mirror of flowers

Meet the interactive mirror of flowers. A person passing by is filmed and the movements detected are sent to a computer. This computer controls no less than 800 motors, which push and pull flowers in and out of a wall.

The effect is awesome, as you can see your own figure in flowers. The installation can also show pre-installed graphics.

Around 3,000 flowers were used to make the mirror. The wall, created by Japanese warehouse Daimaru celebrating its 300th birthday, stands 10 feet high by 16 feet long and is installed in two of its shops in Tokyo and Kyoto.
