Germany: Promenaea Sunlight season kicked off at Klusmann

Spring is coming and yellow colored orchids are becoming more popular for consumers. Promenaea ‘Sunlight’ is offering good value for indoor and outdoor table decorations with its compact habitus and numerous flowers. Promenaea ‘Sunlight’ can be placed outside at a well shaded place at temperatures above 7°C.

This spring, the product is available in 9cm and 12cm pots and with several different ceramics to meet the consumer demands.

To ensure a good shelf life, Promenaea should be placed at a moderate light level and not be exposed to direct sunlight. Temperature optimum is between 13°C and 20°C. There should always be sufficient water available for the plant and the soil should never be completely dry. Fertilizer for orchids can be given once a month during spring and summer, no fertilization in winter.
