US (MI): Suntory shows off Senetti in downtown Chicago

Suntory Flowers are having an exhibition of Senetti at the Chicago Flower and Garden Show this week through Sunday. Wenke Greenhouses in Kalamazoo, Michigan, grew the plants.

This was the company's first time sponsoring a display garden or participating in the show at Navy Pier. In addition to their garden, Senetti was used extensively throughout the show -- in the opening show entrance garden celebrating 100 years of Navy pier -- in other gardens, etc. Plus plants were sold at the show in Mariano's (a nice supermarket chain in the area) market exhibit.

Senetti makes a grand entrance in a themed garden celebrating the centennial of Navy Pier with architecture themed sculptures.

In an indoor garden show, you can mix Senetti with tropical plants! But in real gardens, Senetti likes it cool and tropical like it hot.

"Our sponsored Senetti garden designed and installed by Bolano's was fantastic!" Plants were grown by Wenke Greenhouses.

"The name of our garden is Welcome Home, creating an expansive outdoor living space."

Visitors could buy Senetti plants to take home at Mariano's market place on the show floor. Plants were grown by Schaefer Greenhouses.

Suntory set up a Senetti booth to help visitors connect the plants they saw in the displays and reinforce the brand to look for at retail.

"We also encouraged visitors to buy Senetti at their local garden centers this spring."
