Disneyland Paris celebrated the 25th anniversary of the park on Saturday, March 25th. LM Flower Fashion was approached to represent flowers from the Netherlands, specially for this international event. From several European countries the press and national celebrities came to the magical park culminating in the appearance of singer John Legend and the premiere of the new show Illuminations.
25 years Disneyland Paris
Last weekend at the theme park near Paris the kick-off for the jubilee year took place. A year that is distinguished by new shows, a brand new and festive parade, a spectacular new night-show and renewed attractions.
Dutch flowers and plants
After collaborations concerning the Princess Ball during a grand Christmas event, the styling of the Cinderella Suite at the Disneyland Hotel, the ‘Swing into Spring' spring-event and the premiere of the show ‘Mickey and the Magician', LM Flower Fashion was again approached to decorate flowers from the Netherlands specially for the 25th anniversary of Disneyland Paris. Together with the PR and marketing team of Disneyland Paris, compositions of flowers were made for the hotels and for the tables during the exclusive gala dinner.
A selection of cheery flowers were styled in the theme colors of the 25th anniversary, silver, white and blue. To this end, LM Flower Fashion compiled a team of Dutch florists. Patrick Valk, Machiel Bekker, Marion Verdegaal and Esther van Tilborg contributed to the realization of the flower decorations.
John Legend
John Legend gave a surprise performance prior to the premiere of the new show Illuminations and the gala dinner. The singer performed three songs, including his megahit ‘All of me’ and the title song of the new live action Disney-film Beauty and the Beast.
