Birchmeier's new A50 two wheel sprayer is a lightweight sprayer that comes with a built-in mixing function. The size, capacity and mobility makes it very suitable for use in smaller to medium size greenhouse and nursery compartments or urban and vertical farms where heavy motorized spraying machinery or manual spray pumps do not meet the required capacity.
The A50 has an electronic control system that allows you to preset the pressure and maintain it at a constant level. "The electronic control system also monitors important components such as the pump and rechargeable battery", explained Angela Mayer, communications manager at Birchmeier. "A constant pressure results in constant spray characteristics. This maximises effectiveness while reducing the amount of solution used."
The operating pressure of the quiet, environmentally friendly pump can be continuously adjusted from 1 to 10 bar and depending on the pressure and the accessories used, the rechargeable battery lasts up to 14.5 hours. During this time, up to 1300 liters can be applied. Depending on the fittings and nozzles used, a flow rate of up to 4 liters per minute can be realized.
The empty weight of the sprayer with battery is 33 kilograms. The battery can be recharged within 2.5 hours.
