New Plantipp introductions at the Chelsea Flower Show

After the introduction of Clematis Amber last year, Plantipp is going to introduce three new varieties at the Chelsea Show that is being held on 23-27 May this year.

Morus rotunbiloba Charlotte Russe (‘Matsunaga’), Clematis ‘Taiga’ and Leontopodium alpinum Blossom of Snow (‘Berghman’) are the latest introductions and Plantipp is confident that all three make a good chance to become the Chelsea Plant of the Year 2017.

Morus Charlotte Russe is a unique dwarf mulberry that fruits at an early age on new and old wood. Ideal for in a pot on the patio or balcony. It has a long flowering and fruiting season so you can enjoy its delicious fruit for a long period. Clematis ‘Taiga’ is a true beauty with its artistic flowers that are purple blue. Throughout the flowering season, the flowers change in colour. In combination with its abundant flowering, it is a truly spectacular Clematis. And last but not least the Leontopodium Blossom of Snow. This Edelweiss has extreme large flowers that are characteristic white with a yellow heart against silver grey foliage. Blossom of Snow is an excellent choice for rock gardens, mixed plantings and perennial borders but is also very nice as a cut flower.
