US(OH): $11,000 worth of trees and supplies stolen at Lancaster nursery

Last weekend, nearly $11,000 in trees and landscaping supplies were stolen from Rob Allen's Lancaster Greenhouse & Nursery in Lancaster, Ohio.

He says in 20 years in business, it's the largest loss he's experienced.
He says he thinks the thief cased his nursery, then came back with a trailer and truck and made off with what they wanted."They were cherry picked, a lot of Japanese maples, weeping willows, lilacs, a lot of small ornamental trees that had value, but were light and very easy to grab." Allen said. He says postings on social media helped him locate many of the items which had already been planted at one Lancaster home.
