Italy: International atmosphere at Lisianthus trials
Last week it was all about Lisianthus in Torre del Greco, Italy. GASA Young Plants from Denmark and Az. Ag. Coral Plant - Di Angelo D'Apuzzo had an open house for their Italian and international clients where they showed a large assortment of commercial and experiment varieties of Lisianthus cut flowers.

"This time we have invited three well-known Lisianthus breeders, Evanthia, Takii and SAKATA to show and explain their product to the growers."
"It became a big success for all the breeders, they were very busy explaining their genetics. For sure the grower will test out some of the new varieties for the coming season, that was the general feeling the breeders had."
The breeders, Angelo Di D'Apuzzo and Marco Scognamiglio from Coral Plant, were also pleased and happy to see, that Brian Borup from GASA Young Plants brought in guests from France, Poland, Hungary and Lebanon. "That gave the trials an international atmosphere where people with different nationalities where sharing the experience from their home country with each other."
"We can only look forward to our future trials in cooperations with GASA Young Plants and the breeders", says Angelo Di D'Apuzzo with a smile.
