Extremely hardy
The series was sourced from extremely hardy species in northern Saskatchewan, Canada, and have been trialed in several areas in the US. "After successful trials at Colorado State University and the University of Minnesota, as well as in Miami, Florida and Sydney, Australia, the Heuchera Northern Exposure series was ready to launch as Terra Nova’s “foolproof” heuchera series."

Seven varieties
The Heuchera Northern Exposure series is known for its clean foliage of bright lime, rustic amber, shiny silver, patterned sienna, glossy black, and oxblood red, respectively. This plant does best in moderately well-drained, organic soil types. The series features seven varieties, each forming a medium-to-large mound of healthy foliage. "This series is very rust resistant, and is useful nearly anywhere in the United States."
