Happy birthday, Jan Ingenhousz!

Did you check Google today? If you're in one of the chosen regions, you'll see a doodle of Jan Ingenhousz. The Dutch scientist was born 287 years ago today. Big deal, right? Well, without him, we wouldn't have indoor cultivation as we know it. Not because he invented vertical farming of course, but he did discover the process of photosynthesis. If you want to learn more about this horticultural pioneer, check his Wikipedia page.
