Kenya: United Selections starts planting in Naivasha showhouse

After a few months of hard work, United Selections announces the start of planting their varieties in a brand new location in Naivasha. "A special thanks goes to the flower business park and Panda flowers team. They were of great support during this period", says Christopher Makomere. "We transferred an existing greenhouse (from Panda Flowers) into a very nice place where we can show our latest additions of our commercial assortment."

Planning & varieties
They started planting this week on Monday and will finalize end of this week. This means the coming weeks there is nothing to see yet, but when they have the first flush, an official opening will be held. The planting of the showhouse includes the proven assortment with varieties like Madam Red, Confidential, Jumilia, New Orleans, Red Torch, Sugar Love, etc. In addition, the company will show some brand new additions for low and medium altitude as well:

Cheetah - a very high productive red
Wild Cheetah - a very high productive hot pink
US-0072R - a strong and productive new white
US-0198R - a bi-pink, very suitable for Naivasha with good production
