The client, Green Circle Growers, is a specialist of bedding plants, orchids (Phalaenopsis) and is also a cutting supplier. The client is one of the largest growers in the Midwest (Oberlin) and grows in an environmentally conscious manner. The heat is produced by a wood boiler and gas boilers.
One project is for growing mini orchids and consists of a Venlo greenhouse with an area of nearly 6000 sqm. Prins provided the engineering, production and realization of the entire project. The roof of the greenhouse is equipped with special diffuse glass and the walls are equipped with insulated panels. Screen installations are mounted inside and on top of the greenhouse. The project is fully furnished and completed with concrete floors, table systems and heating systems for growing mini orchids in the best way.
