Photo Report: Flora Holland Winter Fair 2015

The FloraHolland Winter Fair is one of the more homey events among the many trade fairs held on behalf of the Dutch floriculture. Nevertheless most exhibitors seemed satisfied. According most, the importance of this fair is not just about attracting new customers, but also about seeing colleagues and sharing the latest news and developments.

At the fair, many growers of cut flowers and potted plants were present. They exhibited their newest products, so that visitors will get a broad overview of the trends, colours and varieties that will dominate the market in the near future. The focus is still on biological products and produce; biodegradable packaging materials and organic pots and labels were well represented. Another trend, which has been going on for the last years, seems to be a further increase in the supply of phalaenopsis.

Coming up next, for most exhibitors, is the FloraHolland Seasonal Trade Fair in Naadwijk, March 18th and 19th.
