Novelties at the FlowerTrials 2015:

Highlights: PanAmerican Seed, Moerheim, Koppe and more

The floriculture sector consists of ongoing developments. Many companies presented their novelties at the FlowerTrials last week. In this article, we will highlight a couple of the participating companies: Moerheim New Plant, Hassinger Orchid, Channel Island Plant, PanAmerican Seed, Darwin Plants and Koppe.


Moerheim New Plants presented their novelties at their own location in Leimuiderbrug, the Netherlands. Also Hassinger Orchids and Channel Island Plants were present at this location.


The Suntory Collection is part of the Moerheim.


Hassinger Orchids presented a broad assortment of orchids, both existing and new varieties.

Moerheim New Plants.


Paul W. Jackson of Channel Island Plants. The UK breeder was also at Moerheum New Plants to present his new innovations and varieties.


Jeroen Egtberts, director of Moerheim New Plants, explained to us more about the Beedance, a new line of potted plants they have recently introduced.  Egtberts is one of the original initiators of the FlowerTrials.

At many participating breeders the Fleurostar 'best entries' were presented.


Kees van der Meij of Darwin Plants presented its novelties at PanAmerican Seed (in Rijsenhout, the Netherlands).
