Netherlands: Perkgoed Partners opens doors of testing ground

This week, Perkgoed Partners is opening its testing ground for invited guests. Buyers and sellers for retailers can see for themselves in the testing ground which annuals are ideal for their clients.

For the second consecutive year, Perkgoed Partners are opening the doors of their testing ground. "It is the delivery room of our range," says René Wouters, director of Kwekerij Wouters and member of Perkgoed Partners. René: “Before we offer bedding plants to our clients, we extensively test our range on our testing ground. We combine genetics from different breeders and develop the ideal programmes and mixes. What is nice is that the client can see here what works and what doesn't, so that they know exactly what they are buying. Above all, we know what is successful, so that the consumer is satisfied with our blooms."

This year, there is special attention for the extended collection called Festival Colours with the new Aqua Easy pot. Perkgoed Partners are also introducing new ecological packaging for bedding plants (Pak & Plant). Finally, the Season's Best collection can also be admired in the testing ground. This product line consists of 3 categories: Taste, Colours and Survivor.
