"US (PA): "Frey's Greenhouse provides quality customers love"

Frey, co-owner of Frey's Greenhouse, knows for certain that there is something remarkable about plants.

"It's amazing seeing new life," Jerel Frey said. "Seeding in the early spring and seeing them poke out of the ground. It's almost miraculous to see life in that way."

Frey's Greenhouse, which recently opened a satellite location in Lancaster, took first place in both the Garden/ Farm category and Greenhouse / Nursery category of the 2015 Best Of the Lebanon Valley contest. Les and Gloria Frey, who opened Frey's Greenhouse in 1983, still work there every day in a variety of capacities, sharing ownership with their son Jerel.

Jerel is certain Frey's Greenhouse contains the largest variety within Lebanon, and that dominance likely extends beyond the area as well. Additionally, the family owned greenhouse also offers rare perennials that impress knowledgeable customers.

"We want to grow as much of everything as we can," Jerel said.
