UK: Nutrient Management Workshop for pot plant production

This practical workshop, hosted by AHDB Horticulture, is aimed at nursery supervisors and has been designed to provide an understanding of what function the various nutritional elements have within plants, how nutrients interact with each other and the different types of growing media used, which fertilisers to use, how to create nutritional programmes and how to monitor crops, with the emphasis on pot plant production. Practical sections will cover the use of liquid feed dilutors, using electrical conductivity meters to monitor crops and analysis interpretation. The full day's event will be presented by two experienced consultants: Neil Bragg, Bulrush and Susie Holmes, growing media consultant.
