Update Russia: Dutch Flowers being burned?
Click here to view the Dutch broadcast of RTL (in Dutch).
Below the original broadcast on Russian television.
In this clip, one can see that the flowers are being inspected. It is not clear whether these videos are authentic. For the time being, it seems that the carriers are still able to pass the borders.
According to Reuters.com, Russian authorities are again considering a ban on flowers from the Netherlands, which sends up to 5 percent of its flower sales to Russia.
In the meantime, VBN/FloraHolland. LTO and VH are cooperating with the authorities in Den Hague and the Dutch representatives in Moscow. They are trying to keep a close eye on the developments of this situation.
