Russians want to talk about phytosanitary certificates Dutch flower imports

Russians want to talk about phytosanitary certificates for Dutch flower imports, reports the Dutch Medium NOS. Rosselkhoznadzor, Russia's animal and plant health regulator, confirms that a meeting will be held this week. Since August 10 2015, the Dutch flower imports from the Netherlands are being inspected strictly. According to Russia, the flowers from the Netherlands contain western flower thrips and other pests that could damage Russian Agriculture.

Rosselkhoznadzor will not talk with the Dutch growers, exporters or government, but it wants to talk with the parties that provide the export certificates. These certificates prove that the flowers comply with the terms and conditions. It will take place in Czech Republic, Poland and Latvia, because these countries do the phytosanitary certificates for the Dutch flowers. Two of the countries have agreed to talks.
