De Bruyne – Flandresse:

Belgium: 290,000 azaleas sold for cancer charity

Every year, azaleas in Belgium are being sold for the cancer charity 'Kom op tegen Kanker'. The plants are cultivated by the Belgium grower “De Bruyne – Flandresse”. This year, around 290,000 plants were especially grown and packed for this campaign. The cultivation itself takes a year and in only four days, these plants are sleeved and sent to 300 selling points throughout the country.
