Netherlands “2000 solar panels on the roof at Celieplant & Bouquetnet”

More than one year after the opening of the new building of Celieplant & Bouquetnet, director John Celie can again mark a milestone. On October 1st, the official opening of no less than 2000 solar panels on the roof of Celieplant & Bouquetnet, took place.

Official commissioning by Dutch "weather girl
"
"Our CO2 emission is directly related to our climate. Someone who knows everything about it is Helga van Leur, known as our Dutch "weather girl". As a weather expert she sees the consequences for our climate like no other. That's why she gives lectures about the climate in relationship with durability and our behavior. Once you realize that, without handing over comfort, you easily can make other choices, which contribute to a sustainable future, you can have fun with it." Helga van Leur is also very proud that she is involved in the official commissioning of the 2,000 solar panels at Celieplant. She did not doubt for a minute. "I do not have a heart for sustainability without a reason. I am infected by the beautiful green virus."

The 2,000 solar panels provide over 520.00 kilowatt hours of green energy annually. This is more or less similar to the amount of electricity consumed by 200 households per year.
