Colombian flowers for Good Couple Day Japan

The Association of Colombian Flower Exporters, Asocolflores, will continue its campaign to pay tribute to Japanese women in their roles as wives, mothers and family mainstays with the gift of a Colombian flower. Asocolflores chose to keep its floral meme just before Good Married Couples’ Day by handing out over 30,000 Colombian flowers at Tokyo’s Yurakucho Station next Thursday, November 19th 2015.

Last year the Colombian Ambassador to Japan, Roberto Vélez, presented the first bouquet of roses on behalf of the Association of Colombian Flower Exporters in appreciation of Mrs. Abe’s presence at the Asocolflores flower campaign kicking off Good Married Couples’ celebration at Yurakucho Station. Colombian flower growers have started to see the first outcome for this initiative in its second year.
