AU: Prince Charles tours WA seed tech centre

Like Charlie in the chocolate factory, Prince Charles appeared to be in his element when he visited the WA Seed Technology Centre in Perth to talk to scientists.

The avid gardener and environmentalist spent his visit learning about the latest research coming from WA, asking several questions of each student undertaking post-graduate studies.

This includes areas such as native plant species' drought responses, adaptations in bushfires, conservation of threatened plant species, plant breeding and ecological restoration.
