Yash Tandon:

"There is nothing like free trade, not even fair trade"

In the Kenyan paper the Star, Yash Tandon narrates a case study of a, according to him, disturbing and alarming picture. "It is masked by the ideology of free trade," he says. According to him, there is nothing like ‘free trade’, not even ‘fair trade’. "These are fiction. For the last 500 years, the West has waged an unceasing, relentless war on Africa. Trade is war. The WTO is a war machine. It is time we wake up to this harsh reality," he says.
