Netherlands: Plantarium 2016 expected to attract 20,000 visitors

The theme of the 34th Plantarium is "Show It", with the aim to show what they have to offer and to let people know just what they can do. The organisers anticipate that the "Show It!" theme will inspire participants to use Plantarium to present themselves to an international audience from their sector.

The customer takes priority
Participants like meeting customers at the trade fair. Existing customers, but also, and preferably, new customers. Plantarium now offers its participants the option of sending out customer-specific invitations. By matching customer databases to the Plantarium information system, it is possible to approach potential customers.

Plantarium and Floriade Almere 2022
The appointment of Plantarium Chairman Jan Willem Griep as one of the section developers and potentially as a board member of Floriade BV raises the possibility of a combination of Plantarium and Floriade Almere 2022. The company Floriade BV is expected to be set up during the first half of 2016, as the kick-off to Floriade 2022.

Active with Green
A new event has been included in the Plantarium programme, with the title "Getting Active With Green". This is intended to be a practical day, when participants in the sector can gather together to discuss the market, clients, threats and opportunities, and how their business functions in the market.

Registration
The 34th edition of Plantarium will be held in the Plantarium building at the International Trade Centre in Boskoop-Hazerswoude, from 24 to 27 August 2016. The registration term runs until 1 April 2016, after which forms are accepted in order of receipt, provided there is still room. When you register before 1 March, you will get a 2% discount on your advance bill.

Plantarium at IPM 2016
Many Dutch tree nurseries will be represented at IPM 2016 under the auspices of the Nursery Trade Fair Foundation. Sixty-four businesses will be taking part under the name of BIZZ Holland (hall 12, stand A13). At the Plantarium stand, you can meet Plantarium representatives in person.
