"We do everything at our own expense; the production of the bulbs in the nursery and the development of the bulbs in our incubator," says owner Gert-Jan Hogervorst. Since he took over the business from his father, he implemented several large changes to the company. "Previously, we only offered one pot size and several colours. Nowadays, we have multiple sized pots in our range and a wide selection of colours. We are also in the process of developing customised colour mixes together with FleuraMetz."
"By offering the right colours at the right moment, we want to make sure we are offering the best range possible." Being a Preferred Supplier, it also means an even more intense collaboration between HL Hogervorst and FleuraMetz. "We want to test new products, packaging and varieties, everything that needs to be done to be at florists’ disposal."
