Electronic auction system for Dounan Flowers E-Trade Center
The auction room has 3 state-of-the-art multi-color LED clock panels and 2 LED information panels (type P4) for 306 buyers, equal to 96 m² LED display. The challenge for Aucxis was to successfully finish the project within a time frame of 6 months, during which the customer realized many installation works in close collaboration with the Aucxis project team.
Vision for the future
DFETC is also interested in a remote buying system: they believe that such a platform would give a huge boost to both the local as well as the international sales. However, the buyers have to get familiar with the auction concept first: once the system is well-established, remote buying via the internet can be introduced as well.
The DFETC markets over 200 species of flowers, with a daily turnover reaching as high as +/- 350 KEUR.
