Netherlands: Bert Roetert new on Noviflora Supervisory Board
Bert Roetert joins the Supervisory Board of Noviflora with immediate effect. He will be replacing Noviflora founder Hans van Reisen who passed away in August 2014. The company has been managed by his son Xander van Reisen and son-in-law Hendrico de Brabander since 2007.
Noviflora is a family business that has been exporting plants for more than 41 years. Roselife, a service provider for flowers and plants in food retail, has been a part of Noviflora since last year.
In the past Roetert worked at Schuitema/C1000 (as CEO) and Friesland Foods Western Europe. He currently holds several directorships.
He is also chairman of Foodvalley NL and CBL. His knowledge and years of experience in retail and food are a valuable addition and befit Noviflora’s strategy.
In the coming years the focus will be on the development of the retail segment, especially category management at consumer level.
Roetert: "I see the same enthusiasm at Noviflora that marks my own style of doing business and management. Hopefully my knowledge and experience can contribute to the further development of this great international company."
