US (MN): PossAbilities helps greenhouse prepare for spring
“Maybe that first or second week of April we’ll have plants in the store, initially pansies and cold-weather crops.May 1st is when we look to be totally fully stocked,” explains Co-Owner Mark Sargent.
Something else they’re doing a lot of this time of year is hiring. Sargent says labor is usually pretty tight this time of year. The good news is, they have some help before things get too busy.
Wednesday morning, participants of PossAbilities helped the greenhouse get their planting process started by doing prep work for potting orders. The group has been doing it for several years now and will work for about a month.
