US: Bailey Nurseries announces annual customer expo dates

With a new theme and fresh schedule, Bailey Nurseries announces its 2016 annual customer expo in Minnesota and Illinois: From the Farm to the Garden. The event features displays that illustrate production practices and available product from young plants, bareroot and containers. There will also be presentations on retail merchandising, new varieties, team motivation and the future of breeding.

Each event is open to all Bailey customers. From Farm to Garden will include facility tours and access to Bailey staff to discuss plant health, production and sales-related questions.

Dr. Michael Dirr and Coach Vince Dooley will each keynote in Minnesota (speakers for Illinois to be announced in late spring). Coach Dooley is a coach in SEC football, an enthusiastic and knowledgeable gardener, and will give a talk on team building, plants and enjoying life in the garden. Dr. Dirr will speak on hydrangeas and the future of breeding to advance consumer trends and demand.
