Beekenkamp Plants breaks ground for new propagation facilities

Yesterday, Wednesday 23rd March, Beekenkamp Plants laid the first foundations of the new build in ‘s Gravenzande, the Netherlands. A new company establishment will be created on this plot of 15ha, and will be completed in 2 phases. The first phase will cover 6ha of glasshouses and offices. This will be ready mid October 2016.

Due to the growth of vegetable and ornamental plant sales both nationally and internationally, there is a requirement for extra, high quality propagation space. The new greenhouses will be equipped with concrete floors, 6.000 lux of assimilation lighting and insect screens.



The entire project is carried out to the highest hygiene protocols such as GSPP.
