UK: Meet the suppliers at the APL Spring Seminar

This year’s APL Spring Seminar, which takes place at Tendercare Nurseries in Uxbridge on Thursday 14 April, provides an opportunity to find out the very information from a range of suppliers that provide services and products into the landscaping industry.

From plant handling, paving and artificial grass to health and safety, bonding and jointing this networking event provides you with the opportunity to ask all those questions you need to know the answers to.

Alongside the seminar programme there is the opportunity to take a buggy tour of Tendercare Nurseries and make the most of meeting with like-minded professionals at the American style BBQ which follows the seminar.

Plants and products
This session will include a presentation from Tendercare including advice on plant handling including unloading and living walls. Platiplus will also be demonstrating the latest techniques of plant anchoring systems.

Here to help
Makita will be giving health and safety advice around noise, vibration and dust including the latest advice for face fitted masks.

HTA partner updates
Brief presentation from Citation on the latest products they have to help landscaping businesses.
  • 5.05 pm – Refreshment and networking break
Landscaping spaces
This session looks at various aspects of horizontal spaces. There will be presentations from I-Grass, who will discuss artificial grass and standards of laying. Clearstone will be giving a presentation on their resin bond and bound products and services and NCC Streetscape will be presenting on ‘All Weather Jointing with GFTK Mortars’. Jacksons Fencing will provide an update on timber treatment.

The Great British Stone Off
A long awaited panel debate featuring some of the most well-known paving suppliers in the UK. Bradstone, CED, London Stone and Marshalls have agreed to take questions from the floor on techniques, supply, standards and much more.
