Minimize condensation in the early morning in spring

During spring, greenhouse growers experience condensation issues in the form of condensation on the plant in the early morning. The reason for this condensation is often sought in the rapid increase of the greenhouse temperature. The real cause however is that plants are activated to start evaporating due to radiation. As a consequence, the level of humidity in the greenhouse air rises (too) quickly.

Based on measured radiation, you can regulate your vents open by a few percent. This allows you to control a sudden build-up of moisture and to avoid condensation. You can control this process automatically with the Hoogendoorn plant condensation module, which intervenes in a preventative manner with the required controls.
