"Time is now for new flower and plants expo in Poland"

One of the results of the economic growth in Poland is an increase in wages and more interest in (luxury) products, according to the Polish Agency of Statistics (source: www.thenews.pl). This fact plus the more than average love for flowers and plants seem good reasons for companies to initiate activities on the Polish market. The first companies have registered now.

Poland is upcoming
Of all EU countries, Poland’s economy is the fastest grower and will remain solid. The income per capita is increasing, so Polish people have more to spend on interior decoration: they want year-round color and green in their homes, not only in summer in the garden. This reversal has also occurred in earlier developed countries when the income level reached the level at which the Poles are now.

Joined forces
The new Flower Expo Poland will be held from 1 till 3 September 2016 in Expo XXI in Warsaw, at the same time as Green is Life. The Polish Association for Greenery Promotion (Agencja Promocji Zieleni representing the Polish Nurserymen Association) will organise the international fair Green is Life for the 24th time this year. This expo is more focussed on garden plants (nurseries), landscaping and related technique and technology. In 2015 the fair welcomed more than 16,000 visitors (6,500 professionals) and 260 exhibitors. The two organisations will join forces to realise a wide range of ‘green products’.

Growing together
Nurseries and traders from the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, France and Italy as well as companies from Colombia, Ecuador and Kenya are being actively approached to join the new expo.
