Belgium: 45,000 visitors on first weekend Floraliën Gent

The Floraliën, that was opened on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the general public, has welcomed 45,000 visitors already. They hope to attract 250,000 visitors in total. The event will last till Sunday May 1st.

Yesterday, the organization awarded some prizes. The AVBS, The Belgian Nurserymen and Growers Federation, received the Honorary Award. This award is a recognition for all Flemish growers in the Federation. First prizes have also been awarded for the creative manner in which the Flemish tree nursery assortment has been presented for the begonia-mikado and for the work of art with Flemmish cut flowers.
