Wedding flowers find new purposes

In the States alone, 8 billion dollars are spent every single year on wedding flowers. After the 'I do's', all these flower...go to waste.

This inspired Jennifer Growth and her team to start Repeat Roses, a company that picks up flowers after a wedding and bring them back to the warehouse. There they clean, cut and repurpose the flowers. Next, they will deliver those flowers to places like nursing homes and care facilities. Or, as in this report on NBC Nightly News earlier this week, to kids suffering from cancer.
