FlowerTrials: Kientzler novelties at two locations

For the first time, the Kientzler company will present its new varieties and marketing concepts at two locations during the FlowerTrials: Besides the well known show garden at the company’s main office in Gensingen, Kientzler will set up a new location at Walbeck Castle (Geldern) in the Rhineland area, close to the Dutch border.

This year, Kientzler will show again new varieties.

As a new product group, Sunny Walker will be presented in the bedding plant assortment of Kientzler. The upright Calceolaria from Kientzler's own breeding starts flowering mid-May and has a long flowering period over summer. For FlowerTrials two varieties in yellow and orange will be presented.

In the field of colorful Bidens Kientzler presents ‘Funny Honey’ as a big flowering addition to its orange Campfire series. The well branched ‘Funny Honey’ keeps its orange flower pattern over summer.

Kientzler adds three additions to its Osteospermum SummerSmile series, which are known for its improved flowering performance over summer. "Besides the compact ‘Light Yellow’ and ‘Double Golden Yellow’, the new bi-colored ‘Sunrise’ will bring an eye-catching smile in summer gardens."

'Amarena Twist' is the name of a new bi-colored Petunia with double flowers in white and magenta. Kientzler describes 'Amarena Twist' as a well branching variety with good weather performance over summer.

As the white partner to the well-known ‘Dark Elegance’, the variety ‘White Elegance’ is the newest addition to Kientzlers Begonia Summerwings-series. The group of Elegance-varieties have a compact growth habit with good flower coverage, showing the same summer performance as the larger Summerwings.
