"Korean president "ready to buy more Kenyan flowers"

President Uhuru Kenyatta has invited more Korean companies to set up businesses in Kenya, in the latest move by government to lure more foreign investments to the country. Uhuru has called for more partnership between Kenya and Korea in the construction of roads, pipelines and ports. The president, who was speaking at a Kenya-Korea Business Forum in Nairobi on Tuesday evening, also called for investments in ICT, agriculture and e-government.

Korean President Park Geun-Hye described Kenya as one of the most innovative countries in Africa, adding that Korea is keen to forge a new model of partnership with the country.

She said her country is ready to buy more Kenyan agricultural products including tea, coffee and flowers.
