US (OH): Beach City couple brings new life to old greenhouse

You’re out taking a walk with your family, stumble on an old overgrown greenhouse and decide it would look great in your yard.

So you buy it, take it apart and put it back together piece by piece over the next 18 months next to your home. You throw some plants under the roof and then sit back and see if anyone buys them.

That’s exactly what happened to Rhonda Young and her fiancé, Clint Haney, a few short years ago.

While walking with their three kids, the couple happened to wander by the greenhouse.

“So Clint says to me, wouldn’t that be cool if we started that as a business so you could be a stay-at-home mom,” Young said. “It was grown up with weeds and it looked like something out of a movie."

Over the next 18 months, Haney, Young and a couple of friends removed every pane of glass, and each support pipe and brought it back to the couple's garage.

“We brought ‘em home, cleaned up all of the pipes and I had to wash every piece of glass,” said Rhonda. All 500 hundred of them.
