Amanda Flint, Euro American Propagators:

"Our goal is to take xeric to exotic"

Euro American Propagators was established in 1992 by John Radar and Jerry Church and is based in Bonsall, California. Situated on a 63 acre hill top location, Euro American features both a large production facility and impressive research and development growing area, which has enabled them to test a large variety of plants for distribution across their extensive grower network in North America.

Euro American is home to a large range of strong relationships with many of the leading global plant breeds including Dummen Orange, Suntory, BallFloralPlant, Star Roses and Plants, Certified Roses and Newflora. EuroAmerican is a house of brands – providing young plants for Proven Winners, HGTV Home Plant Collection, Westhoff, Kientzler North America, Danziger, and others.

Amanda Flint, Product Development Manager, EuroAmerican Propagators outlined the Euro American vision.

“One of our goals at Euro American is to take xeric to exotic. Many people hear xeric and think dry, desert-like, brown, succulents and cactus. We strive to change that mentality by bringing xeric plants to the marketplace that are truly exotic –colourful, inviting and alluring. Plants that drink responsibly are vital for areas with little rainfall and there are so many low water use native plants that have been enhanced for our enjoyment; Helix’s wax flowers are one of those items! With enlarged bloom size and vibrant colours we are excited to bring these traditional cuts into the homes and gardens of Americans.”
