Royal FloraHolland is to support the AIPH International Grower of the Year Awards (IGOTY) 2017 as Headline Partner.
The awards recognise best practice in horticultural production by the top ornamental production nurseries from around the globe, celebrating the expertise and energy they give to horticulture.
Royal FloraHolland is a co-operative organisation of and for growers of horticultural products, and brings the floriculture chain together in several ways. It is an open marketplace where suppliers of floriculture products and their customers can meet to do business. With its new strategy, ‘Flowering the world together. Planting seeds of opportunities for all our members,’ it creates opportunities for our industry to encourage the consumer to spend more money on more flowers and plants. It provides benefits to its members and their customers by contributing to their margins by optimising its own logistics and taking control of floriculture standards.

AIPH Secretary General, Tim Briercliffe, comments “We are very pleased to have the support of Royal FloraHolland for a second year running. Their support demonstrates the significance of these awards for the global ornamentals industry. The gala awards dinner is becoming a major international network for the sector.”
Floris Olthof, Manager Cooperation & Communication, Royal FloraHolland, comments, “I am pleased that once again Royal FloraHolland will be supporting the AIPH International Grower of the Year awards. It fits our strategy perfectly ‘Flowering the World together, Planting seeds for opportunities for our members’.
