Spain: Verdissimo decorates Isla de la Palma Airport

Verdissimo, a large producer of preserved flowers and plants, has undertaken the floral decoration in Isla de la Palma airport.

The following are the preserved plants that were used:

Bonsai
Bonsai have been key for the decoration of the airport. Large bonsai have been used for the gardens and also a large Bonsai Pitosporum. They originate from Japan and they adapt well to any space because of their versatility.

Spheres of moss ball
Spheres of moss ball are often used to design really natural decoration. For Isla de la Palma airport, Verdissimo has used some large spheres of moss balls and has hung them in the hallways used by the travellers to make the space appear more open.

Gynerium
These plants break the rigidity of vertical compositions. Years ago, they were very in-fashion for decorating the entrance of homes, together with other plants and flowers. They are also a good option to decorate gardens.

Moss
Moss can be used to create spectacular decorations indoors. Verdissimo has included moss in the first phase of the decoration of the airport because it gives that fresh and natural touch.
