How can you save on logistics costs?

The FLOW programme (part of the 2020 strategy of FloraHolland) is focussed on optimising the horticultural chain. The aim is to improve the margins for their members and achieve 15% savings in costs throughout the supply chain.

To be able to do this, FloraHolland needs insight into the entire horticultural chain: what are the actual logistics processes and associated costs at the nursery, for the transporter and for the buyers at the moment? The effects on the entire chain are not always clear nor is everyone aware of them.

Royal FloraHolland employees of the FLOW programme visit growers (and chain partners) to examine and understand their operational processes. What are your challenges and needs? Does the challenge of increasingly small-scale orders affect you? And they want to ask what you think of the logistical role of Royal FloraHolland.
