Flower Expo Ukraine re-scheduled because of Eurovision Song Contest
Although the Eurovision Song Contest will start on 9 May, the management of the International Exhibition Centre (IEC) have ordered all exhibitions, taking place after 1 April, to re-schedule their dates.
The final decision on the venue and the host city was only taken earlier this month.
The European Song Contest requires an extensive build-up period and that is the reason why the exhibition has to be re-scheduled from 4-6 April to 28-30 March 2017 (Tuesday – Thursday).
Despite this date change, the organisers of Flower Expo Ukraine are pleased that the organisers of the Eurovision Song Contest, which is the world's biggest music show, have chosen Kiev as host city.
The Eurovision Song Contest is broadcasted throughout 5 continents, which in combination with the fact that more than 180 million viewers worldwide watch the Eurovision Song Contest means huge exposure for Kiev and Ukraine.
Flower Expo Ukraine is being organised under the patronage of the Flower Council of Ukraine. Furthermore the event can count on the support from the Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and the Netherlands Embassy in Kiev.
Flower Expo Ukraine enables participants from all over the world to get acquainted with the Ukrainian market and establish new contacts and new business.
