Nolina Nurseries introduces new PatioHit: Imola

During the Royal FloraHolland Trade Fair Aalsmeer, taking place in the Netherlands, from 2 to 4 November 2016, Nolina Nurseries and breeder Poulsen Roser A/S will officially introduce PatioHit Imola, the new bicoloured (red and white) pot rose in their PatioHit series. As a follow-up to the Gigi, a 10.5 cm pot rose in the Parade series, Nolina Nurseries now has another variety in its PatioHit line bearing the 'Exclusive' label.

Parade Gigi
"In 2014, when we introduced Gigi, a variety in our Parade series, it was an instant hit," says Marcel de Lange, Director of Nolina Nurseries. "Many of our clients and end customers wanted to include this beautiful bicoloured pot rose in their assortment. Soon after its introduction, we were asked whether we could also produce the Parade Gigi in our 13 cm line of pot roses, but this was easier said than done. In collaboration with Poulsen Roser A/S we began our search for a similar pot rose for the PatioHit series. And the result is fantastic! What we now have is an especially strong rose featuring glossy leaves and big bicoloured flowers, our PatioHit pot rose: ImolaTM."

Limited edition
"Our PatioHit Imola variety has to remain exclusive," Peter van den Ham, Sales Manager at Nolina Nurseries explains. "This is in the interests of both ourselves and our customers. After all, the Ferrari Enzo never went into full production. Imola will therefore be produced as a PatioHit variety in limited quantities. Even so, we will consult with our customers about the extent to which we can meet their requests. Production on demand is definitely an option."

Nolina Nurseries will be at stand 28.4 during the Royal FloraHolland Trade Fair Aalsmeer.
