Uganda Flower Exporters Association in talks with government

The Uganda Flower Exporters Association has presented a petition to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives to resolve cases arising from reports of exposure of some workers on flower farms to poisonous chemicals at their workplaces.



Members of the association met with the Trade Minister, Amelia Kyambadde following recent allegations of the exposure of 80 workers of a flower farm in Wakiso district to toxic chemicals.
