The international knowledge and innovation center for horticulture is almost ready, Smiemans reports. The company's work is almost done, and the World Horti Center will be officially opened in March 2018.
Smiemans Projecten builds the superstructure of the knowledge and innovation centre “World Horti Center”. This special project will be an international platform for horticulture where research, education and business come together.
Smiemans started mid-March with the glass construction with a surface of 4,520m². The glass roof is 12.30 meters high, this is high enough for two floors with shared facilities for 300+ guests, such as an auditorium, meeting rooms, flexible workstations and a restaurant.
